Yad-dnya is the process of offerings by means of fire and Air together. Monday Every Monday Procession begins around 4:00. This starts from Shri Trimbakeshwar temple ,stops at Kushawartha Thirtha for holy bath.After this auspicious bath, procession regains through out the city and comes back to the temple. All over the places lord Trimbakeshwar offered by holy flowers and garlands. Pradosh This is the special time according Hindu ephemeris and its more auspicious if it comes on Monday.Loard trimbakeshwar is worshipped by thousands of pilgrims during such day. Tripurari Pournima (Full Moon) This occurs usually in November at full moon. This is celebrated because lord has killed daemon on this day. Procession starts from Shri Trimbakeshwar temple surging through huge mob of pilgrims and citizens. It continues throughout the city and comes back to the temple. The lord adorned with beautiful flowers and millions of candle-lights. This procession starts at night and there is excitement to participate in it. Maha Shivratri (New Moon in February) This occurs usually in February or March. This is one of the auspicious festival of lord shiva. Pilgrims comes from all over the world to participate in this festival. Pilgrims strongly believe that Lord comes with his wife at night in the temple. Procession starts at 4:00 pm and at night 12:00 this is one of the greatest procession of lord Trimbakeshwar. Sinhahastha Kumbh Mela This occurs once in every 12 years. According to Hindu ephemeris when Jupiter comes in Leo sign at that time this festival starts. As Jupiter stays 13 months in one sign , this festival lasts for one year. This is the summit time for all saints from all over the world, they gets-to-gather to celebrate this occasion. They usually go with their communities and stay at their own community provided accommodation. More than million pilgrims and sages (Sadhu's) visits during this festival. There are auspicious times to bathe at 'Kushawartha thirtha' (lake).For this reason all saints waits for that auspicious time to come once its reach they all starts bathing. It's a strong belief that presence of Gods and Goddess blesses these pilgrims from re-birth and their all sins will be vanished. These are the special ceremonies pilgrims performs as Trimbakeshwar is the place of lord shiva and its established near by meetings of two rivers known as sangamma. This is one of the auspicious place in India to perform following ceremonies. Tri-Pindi As per the traditions , after death soul will transform to either different body or will rest in peace. If neither of this happens then the soul is dangling to rest in peace and pilgrims believe that it will trouble it's ancestors to do some thing to rest that soul in peace. This is the ceremony people will do for their ancestor's who died without rest in peace. Narayan-Nag Bali This is performed by the person who (or his ancestors ) knowingly or unknowingly has killed the snake (cobra). If person dies having strong desires in his mind then , he may re-born as a cobra and will try to accomplish its desire. If some one kills this snake then it will become a sin of killing actual human being. To wash this sin this ceremony has to be done. Kala Sarpa Shanti Every birth of human being is unique by its time, planetary positions and geographical position. Astrology describes this by means of natal chart . If this natal chart is forming certain combinations of planet positions then that person should perform this ceremony. This ceremony will protect the person from all disasters and he/she will get peace of mind . |
